Open Water Diver Course: $195.00 Per Person

How Long Does It Take?: Only 2 Back to Back Weekends (Sat. & Sun.) from 8:00AM to about 5:00PM & Your Certified to Dive For the Rest of Your Life!

OK, I'm Interested, What is next?: It is Easy, First call or come into the shop at: (386) 760-3483 to reserve your spot in the next available class and order your crew pack and DVD's. Then, you watch the DVD's covering the 5 Chapters in the Book, Then You read the 5 chapters, Then Compete the Questions at the End of Each Chapter. Just Remember, all Chapters must be done prior to the first class,

What is the Class like?: Four Days of Fun as follows:
First Weekend: Saturday:You Will Complete the Academic Requirments in chapters 1, 2, & 3 in the Classroom in the Morning. The second half of the day you will Gear Up and get in the water to Complete Your Confined Water Session. Sunday, Just like Saturday, with Additional Chapters Covered in the Classroom and Additional Skills in the afternoon Water Session.
The Second Weekend: Saturday & Sunday: 4 open water dives. The schedule for your second weekend is just about the same as the first. Start about 8:00 am each day, however the day ends about 3:00 pm. The cost of the PADI  Open Water Course is only $195.00 per person and that includes your 'Crew Pack' package.

What is Inside the 'Crew Pack'?:
1. Your Open Water Diver manual- (Note: Do all of the "Quick Quiz Sections. This will make your knowledge reviews very easy during your classroom sessions.)
2. Your Dive log book-This book is used to record all your dive experience. Complete the personal information section prior to your class.
3. Tan Student record folder-complete the personal information & medical questionaire sections prior to your class. [Please note: Enter only Yes or No answers on the medical section.] Please call or email if you have any questions when completing this form or need a copy of the medical release form sent to you.
4. Your Blue Dive Tables & instructions for How to use these tables. (Needed for Chapters 4&5)
5. Some Surprise Goodies!

How do I get started?: Easy, Just call Discover Diving at: (386) 760-DIVE or (386)760-3483, Or if you are Local Just stop by the shop, pay the $135.00 deposit, & sign up for your class date and pick up your books & DVD's:

This includes a $35.00 deposit for the use of the DVD's -$30.00 of this is refunded to you when you return these DVD's on your first day of the class.

If your not local we can ship the crew pack and DVD's to you for an additional shipping charge of: $15.00

What is NOT Included?:

All the rest of the scuba gear including BCD, Regulator,
Octo, Tank, Gages, Compass, soft weight system and gear bags to carry everything in are all supplied by
Discover Diving.

Physical Requirements for this course: 300 yard mask, fin, snorkle swim test, 10 minute survival float/treading water, and you must complete the medical statement.
